Thanksgiving is here and I am looking forward to an extra long weekend with family and eating lots of great food!
I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and start of Chanukah! Enjoy time with family and be thankful for the little things, those are usually the most important and most easily forgotten. I would also like to thank YOU for being part of the Macaroni Kid Family!
Please take a minute to read about the Pajama Drive we are hosting for the Pajama Program - RI Chapter. With the temperatures dropping, there is more of a demand for a new pair of warm winter pajamas or new bedtime storybooks for those children in need. We will have many drop off locations where you can donate from now until December 14th. This is a wonderful organization and we hope you will consider donating. See article for more information.

Each month, Macaroni Kid EATS shares ideas on how to use up extra fruits, vegetables and leftover food!
Here are five things to do with your Thanksgiving leftovers:
- Turkey soup, chili or stock
- Turkey salad sandwiches with cranberry sauce or open-face turkey sandwich
- Mashed potato pancakes
- November Pie - a festive twist on Shepherd's Pie or Turkey pot pie
- Have lots of dessert leftover? Makes for a PERFECT late night snack or breakfast the next day!
Funny stories of things gone wrong

Luckily, we were able to contain the fire with garden hoses, (since the fire dept got lost on the way). In the end we still ate the turkey; it ...
The story is about Dusty the crop duster, who dreams of being a racing plane. He is not made for racing and is even afraid of heights! So, it takes a lot of determination, and help from Skipper, an old ...
