Warwick Figure Skaters is a non-profit organization that serves skaters, parents, and skating lovers from age 3 through adult in our Learn-to-Skate program all the way through advanced programs of instruction and our nationally ranked synchronized skating teams.
Lessons are offered throughout the year during three different ice sessions.
We are at the Thayer and Warburton ice arenas at the Mickey Stevens Sports Complex, 975 Sandy Lane, Warwick, RI.

We offer instruction in basic skills, moves in the field, freestyle, ice dancing, synchronized team skating, and off-ice conditioning classes. Warwick Figure Skaters proudly participates in the Learn To Skate USA Program. This program is designed to teach the beginner skater all the fundamentals of figure skating while having fun on the ice. It is designed to keep skaters enthusiastic from the time they first step onto the ice to begin their lessons until the time they reach their goal, whether they want to be an Olympic or national champion, compete in local competitions, or just enjoy the recreational skating, the Learn To Skate USA Program is for you! Ice skating is a great way to have fun while doing something good for you – skating builds muscles, stimulates your heart, and builds coordination and balance.
You can do it with all your family and friends. Regardless of age, it's a great sport, and never too late to learn.
The objectives of this program are:
β to provide a fun and safe skating experience for the beginner skater as well as the
more advanced skater
β teach correct technique of the basic elements of skating
β develop a finer degree of balance and coordination
β promote physical fitness
β and HAVE FUN!!
