With Pride Month, Father's Day, Juneteenth and the end of the school year all taking place this week, we've got a lot to celebrate! Check out this week's top five "can't miss" family events and activities in Central RI to get in on all of the action! With so many amazing events, I'm cheating a little bit this week with a few "bonus" events (shh, don't tell!)
1. Warwick Food Truck Night - Crowne Plaza
Stop by the Crowne Plaza Hotel a food truck feast! More than a dozen food trucks will be on-site for this delicious and fun event. Trinity Brewhouse will also be on-site serving local beer and wine.

3. Animal Encounters with Roger Williams Park Zoo at Garden City Center
Every Tuesday, now through August 15, Garden City Center will be hosting small creatures and critters from Roger Williams Park Zoo at the Gazebo! There is no formal programming so families can drop by any time during the hour to meet the animals, learn all about their habitats and other fun facts. There will even be a take-home craft and activity!

Pride Month Events
7. Party at Proc: Pride Edition with Juicy Market PVD
Come get your Pride on at Party at Proc with Juicy Market PVD. Grab a beer and some food while you browse the wares of 12 local artisans and vendors. Then, stick around for the drag performance by Gigi Glam at 7:30pm.
A portion of the daily sales from “I Actually Exist” will be donated to Youth Pride RI.

8. Family Pride Karaoke Night
Celebrate Pride Month with the whole family at The Gamm Theater's Family Pride Karaoke Night. Families can sing a song in our lobby, try snacks and drinks from our café, and enjoy the weather on our patio. This fun evening will also feature face painting for the kids!

Juneteenth Events
9. Juneteenth Walk
Join the East Greenwich Community Services department for a Juneteenth walk to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. The walk will begin in the parking lot of the Swift Community Center. This is a wonderful way for the whole family to get some fresh air and exercise while also taking time to recognize an important moment in our history.

There is one last event this week that is near and dear to the Macaroni KID Cranston - Kent County family, and that is my son, Owen's, birthday. He will be the big 1-0! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, OWEN!
