Ahh, June, the time of year when the flowers are in full bloom, the Del's floweth freely, the wildfire smoke socks us in (wait, what?!), teachers and children rejoice and parents begin to panic. Well, panic no more because Macaroni KID Cranston - Kent, RI has all of the fun activities and events, tips and recommendations on how to make this your best, and least stressful, summer yet!

1. 58th Annual Gaspee Days

Gaspee Days are here! Bring the whole family to this historic and fun event happening all weekend! The weekend will be jam-packed with events ranging from a road race and parade to a reenactment of the burning of the Gaspee and more! 2. Mulligan's Island Food Truck Fridays

Fridays at Mulligan's Island is the place to be for food, family and fun! Every Friday through October we will have food trucks, so try your hand at mini-golf, the driving range or the batting cages and then stick around for the tasty offerings from our food trucks.

3. Free Movie Night at The Gamm Theatre

Bring the whole family to enjoy Marcel With the Shoes On at The Gamm Theatre. Movie-goers can purchase drinks and snacks at the concession stand before relaxing in The Gamm's comfortable stadium theater seating.

4. Scituate Rotary Farmers Market

Stop by the Scituate Rotary Farmers Market, now celebrating its 23rd year, and shop the wide variety of quality, locally grown seasonal fruits & vegetables, local meats and hand-crafted goods.

5. Paine House Museum: Visit a One-Room Schoolhouse

Take a trip back in time! Families who visit this month's Paine House Museum Learning Series event will have the opportunity to tour the one-room Read Schoolhouse and learn what life was like for children back in the 1800's. You will also have the chance to make your own quill pen to take home with you.
