MacKID Picks: 5 Events Your Kids Will Love This Week

We're in the midst of the coldest season in the United States. That means now is the time to wear all the cozy sweaters, drink all the exotic hot tea, and cuddle under all the blankets with your kids to read books and whisper secrets.

If you're looking for things to do with the kids at home this week, we've got ideas! Here are five fun virtual events you can enjoy with your kids the week of Jan. 19-26. 1. Explore Earth's Sky

2. Math Rules

WonderLab Museum educators will use math to try to answer questions like: Is there a limit to how many animals the environment can hold? Is there such a thing as too many plants? How did humans multiply to 8 billion people? This event is intended for children in grades 1-5. Friday, Jan. 20

3. Welcome The Year Of The Rabbit

Splat Lab, located in Brooklyn, N.Y., is hosting a free virtual event to celebrate the Lunar New Year! Participants will enjoy a fun activity to scare Nian away and help you celebrate prosperity by making your own money. Sunday, Jan. 22
