A few weeks ago, I remember saying: "August is here and summer is quickly passing by, school starts for most students in about a month!"... well, that isn't the case anymore. As of now it might be accurate for me to repeat most of that statement... school starts for most students in about a month! Maybe?
This year has certainly been challenging and planning for the start of school has not been any easier, I can feel the stress and I can tell my kiddos can too. My 10 year old is super focused on the chance of repeating distance learning, he was not a fan. My job is to make sure he doesn't worry about it, no 10 year old should have to worry like he is... Instead I told him he doesn’t have to worry about a thing. I told him to enjoy the time off and let me do the worrying. And I explained that I am confident that he will have amazing teachers to help him no matter where he has to learn from.
Somehow we will get through this craziness together!!
