You can't walk more then a foot in my house without finding a motorcycle, a truck, some kind of ball or a tool...I live in BOY CENTRAL! So, it only made sense to jump at the chance to review the new TRANSFORMERS® RESCUE BOTS PLAYSKOOL HEROES FIRE STATION PRIME Playset from Hasbro.
When the box arrived in the mail, the boys were very interested to see what was inside and to their surprise it was for them! Their eyes lit up as we took the playset out of the package. Normally, one toy and 3 boys leads to fighting, but not this time (or at least not right away) they each got to choose a piece to play with. The playset includes one large fire station which converts to Optimus Prime, a fire truck/robot, Cody Burns figurine and a storybook.
The boys really like the fire station with lights and sounds, including 12 phrases like "Let’s roll out and save the day!" On the top of the station there is a water cannon that "fires" a plastic burst of water and the hero elevator is also a big hit!
The Fire Station playset is recommended for ages 3 - 6, but my almost 2 year old enjoys it also! It is safe to say that any child that likes fire trucks and/or Transformers would love this toy!
The Hasbro Transformers Rescue Bots Fire Station Playset retails for $49.99 and can be found online or at your local Toys R US, Target, Walmart, Kmart.
