More than 300 local families have consigned thousands of new and gently used children’s items for the RI Kids Consignment Sale, April 11-14, 2013 at the West Warwick Civic Center. From designer brands and bassinets, toddler beds to train tables – it’s all available at the semi-annual, four day sale.
The number of items consigned for this sale is expected to hit over 55,000 items – including clothes for spring/summer, baby gear, toys and kid-related necessities. Shoppers can expect an organized, easy-to-navigate, professional sales event.
The timing of the sale helps families with seasonal, spring-summer necessities. “It’s exciting to see the sale grow year to year - a real testament to the need for money-saving options for families,” said Mary-Lyn Siderski, co-founder of the sale. “In today’s economy, with many families cutting back on spending, this is an excellent way to stretch a budget while also helping other families in our community earn a little money.” As an added benefit, many unsold items are donated at the consignor’s discretion to Foster Forward (formerly RI Foster Parents Association).
The sale runs:
Wednesday - Presale Pass Required!
Thursday, April 11th, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday, April 12th, 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 13th, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 14th, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
On Sunday many items are included in the ‘Half Price Sale’. Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
