Showcase Cinemas Warwick invites gamers of all ages and skill levels to participate in Super League, a fun 4-week event that runs Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. from April 30 – May 21. Gameplay lasts 90 minutes, and every player gets a free t-shirt! You must sign up for the full 4-week league.
Each week, participants will play Minecraft Rise of Heroes on the movie screen, earning individual and team points. Taking place in 75 cities across North America — from Anchorage, Alaska to Ontario, Canada to New York — Super League Gaming’s World Championship of Minecraft tests players’ creativity, critical thinking and collaboration as teams compete in theaters to climb the Super League leaderboard for a chance to take home a shared $15,000 college scholarship.
All players must bring their own fully charged laptop with Minecraft 1.8 installed. Other devices including tablets are not compatible with Rise of Heroes. Players may bring a mouse if they normally game with one. Parents and non-gaming guests including siblings and friends are welcome to attend the event free of charge.
